Linda’s annual recipe for Christmas decorating is simplicity itself, creating an English equivalent of what she says the Scandinavians call ‘hygge’, meaning snug. With Roger’s help, the twig stars and trees which Linda designed to decorate her own house are now becoming well known favourites in Petworth market where they set up their stall on special Fair Days each Christmas. Fir cones and other woodland finds, are off set by candles and fairy lights in the Christmas decorations, which Linda Biggs designed for her home to complement its Nordic vibe.
