Thanks to its owners, Gill and her partner Gareth, this beautifully quirky 550-year-old timber-framed house in Kent is the perfect venue for family gatherings, where its cosy atmosphere is enhanced in every room with candlelight and natural touches inspired by the rural surroundings: berries, pinecones, eucalyptus, and decorations carved from tree bark.Gill’s style at home is effortless and refreshing, with walls tinted in soft whites, and wooden furniture - whether painted or otherwise - never distracting from the exposed beams and brickwork.
