Replacing a 50’s building with a new uniquely stylish country house, has given Clare and Gareth and their growing family, a luxurious individual home to enjoy. Finding the perfect plot with permission to take down the existing 50’s house and build new was a god send. The site was ideal, south facing in over an acre of ground and the location, close to friends, family and good schools for the children. 'This is the first house we have built from scratch, and it has proved our most challenging, rewarding project to date, ’ says Clare.
