Printmaker Merlyn's 16th-century home was once part of a large manor that has since been split into two houses, of which Merlyn now occupies the west wing. She has kept the décor throughout her house simple to highlight the art works, antique furniture and decorative pieces picked up on her travels to China, a country from which she draws inspiration for her work.
