Italian rose garden is a treasure trove of fragrent old fashioned roses

Maria and her husband Hubert Kompatscher who own the Heubad Hotel, have created a delightful garden one thousand meters above sea level in South Tirol. Roses, in particular, are their passion. The garden contains old rose varieties like "Marie Louise "and" Queen of Denmark" known for their exquisite fragrance.
