Eclectic home in

Sandra Vandermerwe can’t bear anything girly in her home. She also had a very definite idea about what she did want and that included a bedroom that would look like an art gallery. There she displays her collection of Johannesburg artist's Douglas Portway paintings. The bed is made of two brass balustrades that she found in an architectural salvage shop.
