Passive house on Lake Starnberg, south of Munich

If you've always lived in an old house, when it comes to building something new you still long for the tried and true details. Such was the case with costume designer, Marion who used not only the latest heating technology but also old building materials when it came to crafting her modern passive house north of Lake Starnberg. She combined triple glazed windows with rustic oak, old stone floor from France and an ancient monastery door.
