Alke & Matthias have created an airy haven beneath characterful wooden beams; DE

After Alke's grandparents' old farmhouse was torn down and faithfully rebuilt due to structural issues, Alke saw the opportunity to expand the former hayloft into a beautiful apartment for herself and her fiancé Matthias. A clean white colour palette is used throughout, given depth by more traditional furnishings and warm, tactile elements.
