A Belle Epoque villa amidst the rolling hills of Piedmont region, Italy

It gets cold in this part of Italy in the winter. Thus a traditional house will always have a "stube", with wood panelling and a wood burning stone stove. This was the primary living space - for work and for leisure - in the olden days. This villa was restored with great attention to detail, down to keeping the original painted wallpaper.
