Amsterdam apartment provides a smaller scale home in Amsterdam

Moving from a large house to an apartment can be a shock, but for Ank van der Pluijm it was an opportunity to experiment with design. She moved into a 17th century warehouse building that had been converted into apartments. The apartment was a blank canvas. With the help of her architect friend, Frank Brouwers, she set about creating a home that would perfectly suit her smaller-scale needs.
